What is Used Books?

Used books is a free service provided on padnpod, allowing users to sell and buy used books over our portal.

Does padnpod charge for selling the used books?

No. This is a free service. Padnpod does not charge the buyer nor the seller of used books.

How can I upload and sell my used books?

Simply enter the details of the book on the right hand side of the Used Books page. You can choose the category in which to place your book on our platform and also can upload an image. Once you fill in all details, hit Submit button. If you are already logged into your account your book will automatically be sent for padnpod review and acceptance. If you are not logged in, your will transferred to the login page to enter your account details. If you do not have an account, you simply create a new account.  

How can I buy a used book?

Simply browse through the categories listed on the left section of Used Books page and choose the book you want. Once you select the book you want you will be taken to the used book detailed page where you can review book information. If you decide to buy the book, enter the Contact Seller form at bottom of page and submit. You will receive contact information of seller. You will need to contact the seller to agree of details of delivery and payment.

Is padnpod involved in the process? 

padnpod.com offers Used Books as a free service. padnpod.com does not interfere in the exchange between the buyer and the seller

What happens to a seller book when it is sold?

When a buyer clicks on buy the book, the book will be automatically placed on-hold for 48 hours, after which it will be marked as sold. 

What happens if the buyer does not show up or does not buy the book?

If the buyer refrains from buying,  the seller should (within 48 hours) login to  his account and change the book's status to available to make it available to other buyers.
